Print Hard Copy Applications to Mail or Fax

If you enroll and pay online, your membership will be activated immediately. An email will be sent to you with your member number.

Please allow up to 2 weeks for membership processing. You will receive your membership card and welcome packet via US mail.

Note: If applying online, you must complete the entire process including payment via credit card. If you do not complete the entire process including payment of dues if applicable or if you do not receive an email confirming your membership account activation, then your membership has not been activated. If you think there was an error with your online form submission, please call 312-554-2133 or email rbentley@chicagobar.org. If you are a student member, please call 312-554-2135 or email slomonaco@chicagobar.org. Please also note that the online system cannot generate a bill for you. Thank you.

Attention Non-Member Customers
All non-member customers must complete an online profile to obtain an account number to register for seminars and events, purchase books, etc. If you would like to do so but do NOT want to join the CBA, please complete the online enrollment form and select the Non-Member Online Account option.

Attention New Admittees
You cannot become an attorney member until you are sworn in to the Illinois Bar. You may mail or fax a hard copy application in advance or complete the online enrollment form after the ceremony. If you are or were a CBA law student member and wish to convert your membership to an attorney membership, call 312-554-2135.
