To help introduce you to the practice of law, the CBA offers new admittees in Illinois up to 6 months of FREE membership (Applies only to those whose first admission state is Illinois and immediately follows admission date). Please note the following:

When can I join?

You cannot become an attorney member until you are sworn in to the Illinois Bar.  You can mail or fax a hard copy application to us before the swearing in ceremony, however, we cannot process it until after the ceremony.  You can also join online as an attorney member after the swearing in ceremony. If you wish to join before you are sworn in you may join online as a law student member, however, the $12 dues are not prorated nor are they refundable.

How can I convert my law student membership to an attorney membership?
