When can I join?

You cannot become an attorney member until you are sworn in to the Illinois Bar. You can mail or fax a hard copy application to us before the swearing in ceremony, however, we cannot process it until after the ceremony. You can also join online, after the swearing in ceremony. If you wish to join before you are sworn in, you may do so as a law student member, however, the $12 dues are not prorated nor are they refundable.

How can I convert my law student membership to an attorney membership?

Call (312) 554-2133. At this time, you cannot do this online.
