The new YLS Podcast Center is a library of common "how to" questions faced by young lawyers that is designed to provide succinct and readily accessible information.

 

YLS Journal

The YLS Journal is published in the CBA Record (eight times a year). It provides members with a compilation of both substantive and procedural articles as well as news of YLS projects and activities.

 

YLS E-News

The YLS e-news is published monthly (August thru June). This electronic newsletter is filled with updates on the YLS and information on upcoming events. Find out what the YLS has been up to or join us at an upcoming event.

 

YLS Publications

The CBA's Legal Bookstore offers member discounts on the latest legal publications, many geared for the young lawyer. Some are currently available for download (see bottom of this page) or available thru the bookstore. Sample titles include: The Chicago Lawyer's Court Handbook, Getting Paid Tips, YLS Guide to Real Estate Practice, Lawyers' Professional Responsibility Guide as well as other legal resource guides.

 

CBA Placement Center

The CBA Placement Center brings legal employers and professionals together in a confidential manner. Services include career counseling, confidential networking, and professional placement assistance.

 

CBA Career Center

The CBA Career Center offers an online resume bank, job postings, career articles, links and more.

 

CBA Career & Practice Development Community

An online community that assists members in finding career and practice development related services and resources they need, locally and nationwide. Site includes articles and forums that discuss careers in the legal profession and how to grow your practice.
