Neighborhood Cleanup Day – September 20
Join students and parents from Legal Prep Charter Academy for a
neighborhood cleanup day on Saturday, September 20, 2014. Volunteers
will assist the students in sprucing up the neighborhood immediately
adjacent to Legal Prep in which they participate for physical education
activities as well as after-school programming. This project gives
volunteers a chance to interact with Legal Prep students while
benefitting the immediate neighborhood surrounding the school. Following
the clean-up, there will be a back-to-school BBQ to get the students
excited about the school year and to thank the volunteers for assisting
with the project. Volunteers will meet at Legal Prep, 4319 W. Washington
Blvd, Chicago IL, 60624 at 10 a.m. The BBQ will go from 12-1:30 p.m.
Transportation is the responsibility of the volunteer. To sign up,
contact David J. Stein. Law student members welcome.
