Will for Heroes Event-January 24 (Volunteers Needed)
Volunteers are needed for a Wills for Heroes
Foundation event on January 24, 2015, from 8 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at
Chicago Police Department Headquarters, 3510 S. Michigan Ave, Chicago.
At the event, volunteer lawyers help create free wills and other estate
planning documents for local emergency first responders and their
spouses or partners. Non-attorneys and law students can help too! A
short training takes place at 8:00 a.m., followed by the event at 9:00
a.m. Free parking is available. Sign up to volunteer here.

9th Annual Texas Hold 'Em Tournament to Benefit the
Join the Young Lawyers Section at
its Ninth Annual Texas Hold’em Tournament for the benefit of
The Chicago Bar Foundation. A special refresher course will be held
prior to the tournament start to remind novice players of the basic
rules of play and how to properly bet. Prizes will be awarded. Come play
