New Podcast Episode: Peaking Beneath the Blindfold Edition
This edition features Joel Cohen, a prominent New York white-collar criminal defense attorney and frequent contributor to The Hill, HuffPost, Slate, and the New York Law Journal, as he discusses his recent books "Blindfolds Off: Judges on How They Decide," which lifts the veil of secrecy surrounding judicial decision-making, and "In Broken Scales: Reflections on Injustice," in which Joel interviewed individuals ill served by our justice system. Our hosts Jonathan Amarilio and Jennifer Byrne unpack Joel’s reflections on what motivates judges to make the decisions they make, and how injustices in our legal system can come to define our society and its perceptions of the judicial system as a whole.
