Of all the social media tools Twitter is the least used by attorneys. However, as a marketing tool Twitter is a bullhorn to get your message out and it is really easy to use. All sorts of people are on Twitter - why aren't you? Bring your tablet, laptop or smartphone to set up your Twitter account, learn the basics, the lingo, and see how you can promote your practice, participate in discussions, and benefit from what Twitter has to offer.

In this session we will cover:
  • Uses for Twitter (examples of different profiles)
  • Setting up your profile
  • Composing a message
  • Shortening links
  • Retweeting
  • Finding & Following other Twitter Users
  • Trends and Hashtags
  • Message statistics

This will be a hands' on session. Attendees are encouraged to bring their laptops and any potential content (articles, videos, and pictures) to add to the new Twitter page and to follow along with the instructor.
