The Chicago Bar Association and Chicago Bar Foundation will sponsor the 5th annual Pro Bono Week in Chicago from October 26-30, 2009, to shine a light on pro bono in the Chicago area legal community. This year's Pro Bono Week is co-chaired by Jesse H. Ruiz of Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP and Barry C. Taylor of Equip for Equality.
In the spirit of Pro Bono Week, attendees are expected to accept a pro bono case in any area of law within the next six months following the MCLE. Space is limited - register early!

The program will provide an overview to resolving individual income tax matters for low income taxpayers. Topics include audits, assessment of tax and collection remedies. Information on the first steps to case resolution for practitioners new to taxation will also be provided.
Seminar Materials
Materials for all seminars will be available to download or print under the CLE tab. You must be registered for the seminar and logged into the website to access the materials. Hard copies of materials will be available at seminars if they are pre-ordered at an additional cost of $25 per seminar. (CLE Advantage members are required to pay this fee to receive hard copies of seminar materials.)
Registration/Cancellation Policy
Registrations must be received 3 hours prior to the start of the seminar or the $10 on-site registration fee will apply. All cancellations must be received in writing 24-hours prior to the seminar to receive a refund (fax 312-554-2054 or email seminars@chicagobar.org). CLEAdvantage members who do not cancel in writing 24-hours prior to the seminar will be subject to a $15 cancellation fee.
