Intermediate Acrobat for Lawyers (Hands-on Training)

The PDF format is the lingua franca of digital documents. Having conquered the basics of Adobe Acrobat come takes your skills to the next level by learning how to work with digital documents as you would work with paper documents.

You will learn how to:
  • Create a digital signature stamp
  • Apply comments and markup
  • Edit document text
  • Combine multiple files into a single PDF
  • Create PDF portfolios
  • Archive MS Outlook folders to PDF
  • Remove metadata
  • Add hyperlinks
  • Embed audio, video and other files
  • Secure PDF documents.

Adobe Acrobat X Pro will be used in the training, though much of the functionality is available in previous versions. This will be a hands-on session. Attendees are encouraged to bring their laptops and sample files will be available to follow with the instructor.

Registration / Cancellation Policy

In Person: Registrations for attending programs in-person must be received 3 hours prior to the start of the program or a $10 on-site registration fee will apply. All cancellations for in-person attendance must be received in writing 24-hours prior to the seminar to receive a refund (fax 312-554-2054 or email CLEAdvantage members who do not cancel in-person registration in writing 24-hours prior to the seminar will be subject to a $15 cancellation fee.

Webcast: Registrations for attending a program via live webcast must be completed online prior to the publicized start time of the webcast. Persons registering for webcasts can view webcasts as live or archived events. Cancellations for webcast registrations from non-CLE Advantage members must be received in writing 24-hours prior to the seminar to receive a refund (fax 312-554-2054 or email

Information on Seminar Materials

Materials for all seminars will be available to download or print under the CLE tab. You must be registered for the seminar and logged into the website to access the materials. Hard copies of materials will be available at seminars if they are pre-ordered at an additional cost of $25 per seminar. (CLE Advantage members are required to pay this fee to receive hard copies of seminar materials.)
