While the federal regulators continue to propose new qualified plan regulations, many corporate clients continue to experience reductions-in-force resulting in fewer employee benefits professionals being responsible for plan compliance activities. Whether it's the new service provider regulations that require service providers to disclose information about their fees and potential conflicts of interest to plan fiduciaries or the new participant-level regulations that require plan sponsors to disclose specific information about plan and investment costs to employees, many clients continue to turn to their legal counsel to help explain these new regulations and their obligations. Additionally, many clients continue to struggle with basic plan compliance, including the failure to timely deposit employee elective contributions, follow the plan's definition of compensation, timely enroll eligible employees, and properly administer plan loans and/or hardship distributions. Registration / Cancellation Policy

In Person: Registrations for attending programs in-person must be received 3 hours prior to the start of the program or a $10 on-site registration fee will apply. All cancellations for in-person attendance must be received in writing 24-hours prior to the seminar to receive a refund (fax 312-554-2054 or email CLEAdvantage members who do not cancel in-person registration in writing 24-hours prior to the seminar will be subject to a $15 cancellation fee.

Webcast: Registrations for attending a program via live webcast must be completed online prior to the publicized start time of the webcast. Persons registering for webcasts can view webcasts as live or archived events. Cancellations for webcast registrations from non-CLE Advantage members must be received in writing 24-hours prior to the seminar to receive a refund (fax 312-554-2054 or email

Information on Seminar Materials

Materials for all seminars will be available to download or print under the CLE tab. You must be registered for the seminar and logged into the website to access the materials. Hard copies of materials will be available at seminars if they are pre-ordered at an additional cost of $25 per seminar. (CLE Advantage members are required to pay this fee to receive hard copies of seminar materials.)
