Any number of challenges may develop in the attorney-client relationship. Perhaps a client's angry personality causes you stress or your client refuses to even consider a recommended course of action. Sometimes clients fail to stay in touch, or in contrast, insist on burdensome moment-by-moment updates, monopolizing your time and trying your patience. Other clients may fail to recognize the systemic constraints that are out of your control and choose to blame you instead. Speakers will present strategies and techniques as well as ethical considerations for handling clients who present these and other challenges. SPEAKERS: Marilyn J. Smith, Exec.
