For example, YouTube has been the target of numerous copyright infringement lawsuits, eBay has been accused of facilitating widespread trafficking in counterfeit and infringing goods, and MySpace has been criticized for not doing enough to protect its users from real-world harassment and abuse. The question of whether and to what extent the intermediary should be responsible for the unlawful conduct of its users is a perennial question of internet law. This seminar will explore these issues from a variety of viewpoints. Topics and Speakers are listed in Registration section below. Hard copies of materials will be available at seminars if they are pre-ordered at an additional cost of $25 per seminar.
