TOPIC: Working in another language : tips and tricks to working with an interpreter
SPEAKER: Deborah Joyce has devoted her career spanning three decades to providing communication between French and English speakers in a variety of fields and disciplines. Her portfolio of cases ranges from the simplest case in traffic court, to include a three-year anti-trust case with the Canadian Department of Justice, a criminal investigation by a French judge of a high-profile Chicago homicide, estate matters, divorces, asylum and immigration, an employment contract case before the French Labor Tribunal, a money laundering case investigated by the Paris white collar crime unit, and on-sight interpretation of a federal tort bench trial in U.S. District Court. She is recommended by the Consulate of France in Chicago for the translation of legal documents.
