Legal Prep Charter Academy: A College Prep High School With An Eye Towards Diversity in the Legal Profession
Join us as Rather Stanton, the Director of Development at Legal Prep Charter Charter Acadamy presents on charter academies generally, and Legal Prep specifically, which targets historically at-risk youth including students of color for admission to their charter school and it's law based curriculum.
Legal Prep is Chicago's first and only legal-themed charter high school and offers a college preparatory education to Chicago's west side communities in dire need of quality education options. Free to attend and not selective in its enrollment, Legal Prep uses its legal themed curriculum to engage the students in their learning, expose them to all types of attorneys, and show them that there is a place for them in the legal profession.
