TOPIC: Diane Redleaf, Executive Director of the Family Defense Center, will talk about DCFS appeals on behalf of foster parents, adoptive parents prospective adoptive parents. The presentation will include both expungement appeals and clinical service appeals, along with a discussion of some of the obstacles these parents are facing in juvenile court. She will also discuss recent legislation and litigation concerning "environment injurious" allegations in the DCFS system.
