Can mooting survive standing? Bringing an FLSA collective action to a quick end by mooting it has become more prevalent in the 7th Circuit. Hear views from both sides on the issue which is currently pending before the U.S. Supreme Court in Genesis Health v. Symczk. There the Court will decide whether an employer can effectively end a FLSA collective case by paying the claim of the named plaintiff in full.
