TOPIC: "Obamacare Implementation in Illinois: What Lawyers Know So Far," Ann Hilton Fisher will discuss what Illinois has done so far to implement the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and what still needs to be done. The ACA, or Obamacare, will have a broad impact on attorneys and their clients. Ms. Fisher will provide an update to the evolving world health care in Illinois to help you begin to prepare your clients for this brave new health care world.
SPEAKER: ANN HILTON FISHER, J.D. has spent her career in legal services, and has exclusively represented poor people with disabilities since 1984. Since 1997 she has been the executive director of the AIDS Legal Council of Chicago, a direct services and advocacy program.
