Hands On: Outlook for Lawyers: The Basic

Outlook is the email host that dominates the business world, and is used by lawyers globally. In this class, we’ll cover all the basics you need to know to make navigating both the installed and web versions a breeze. We’ll discuss tips and tricks to solve the minor but daily irritations you might encounter, as well as settings you can adjust to boost your professional appearance when sending email. 

Speaker: Anne Haag is a Practice Management Advisor at the Chicago Bar Association. Anne worked as a patent paralegal at a Chicago IP firm before arriving at the CBA in 2017 as the Law Practice Management and Technology department’s trainer/coordinator. She is also a certified crisis counselor and volunteers as a patient advocate in the ER. 

In this session we will cover:

Basics in both installed and web versions of Outlook
Settings you can activate in Outlook to save time and frustration
Tips and tricks that can come in handy for lawyers

This will be a hands on session. Attendees are encouraged to bring their laptops and to follow along with the instructor. Limit 10 per session.
There are loaner laptops with Wi-Fi available. Limit 8 per session. You must reserve a loaner laptop at registration.
