Unbundled Services To Expand Your Practice - W

Thanks to rule changes adopted by the Illinois Supreme Court in 2010 and 2013, lawyers can provide unbundled services such as document preparation and limited scope appearances for litigants in state civil courtrooms. The amended rules give lawyers an opportunity to connect with clients who might otherwise forego any legal help. In this program, experts and practitioners will describe the nuts and bolts of the limited scope rule changes and outline ethical considerations in providing unbundled services. A panel of lawyers will discuss how they use limited scope representation to help their clients and will share best practices and other tips for effectively providing representation under the limited scope rules.

Attendees will be eligible to apply for new CBA LRS limited scope panels for domestic relations, eviction court, and contract/debt collection matters so long as they meet the other requirements for serving on these LRS panels.
