Importance of Feedback: The Tale of Two Scenarios - W

Feedback and performance reviews are an important part of any young lawyer’s professional development. But in order to be constructive and effective, lawyers who supervise less experienced lawyers need to be aware of potential pitfalls that can undermine their efforts to retain the diverse legal talent they’ve worked so hard to recruit. How should law firms and partners work to combat implicit bias against Latinas and women of color? How do we give feedback up front and connect personally with new attorneys? Hear how to do it and what a big difference these efforts can make.
