Litigating High Stakes Medical Malpractice Cases

From pre-suit investigations, filing complaints, contentious motion practice, to opening statements and cross-examining experts at trial, audience members will receive a glimpse of the time, expertise, and costs associated with litigating a complex medical malpractice case in Illinois. Panelists will discuss a variety of topics including: how they evaluate potential cases, handling agency issues in discovery, audit trail discovery, motions for summary judgment, retaining qualified experts, preparing for trial, and presenting your medical malpractice case and/or defense in front of a jury.
