Practice Basics: Setting Up for Success

Practice Basics: Setting Up for Success by Setting Expectations & Establishing Good Client Screening

Screening clients, scoping cases, and setting expectations are important parts of having a successful legal practice. Being able to determine whether the potential client fits your (or your firm’s) business model, whether they have any knowledge of the legal remedies available to them, and whether they have a realistic understanding of the costs involved can make or break your relationship with clients from the get go.

During this one hour “practice basics” seminar, the speakers will address various issues that can emerge from a lawyer’s failure in setting appropriate expectations and screening clients, while providing tips on how to ensure that you are set up for success from the very beginning.
