U.S. Senator Dick Durbin: The Justice in Policing Act of 2020 - LIVE WEBCAST

U.S. Senator Dick Durbin recently joined colleagues in introducing the Justice in Policing Act of 2020, the first-ever bold, comprehensive federal legislative approach to hold police accountable, change the culture of law enforcement, and build trust between law enforcement and our communities. Senator Durbin will join the CBA for a live webcast to provide an overview of the Act, describe its core goals and explain how the Act will result in meaningful policing reform and change.

This presentation is the first in a series of programs presented by the CBA Young Lawyers Section’s Racial Justice Coalition and the discussion will be moderated by the Coalition’s Co-Chair, Chastidy Burns. Members are encouraged to submit questions for the Senator in advance to yls@chicagobar.org.
