YLS Sponsorship and Advertising Opportunities

The Young Lawyers Section (YLS) of The Chicago Bar Association focuses on the needs and interests of newer attorneys. The Section offers substantive practice committees and seminars, as well as public service committees and projects. The Section’s membership is comprised of approximately 7,000 law students and attorneys within their first 10 years of practice. Below is a list of sponsorship and advertising opportunities that will expose your brand to our law student and young lawyer members:



YLS Monthly Socials

The YLS holds monthly socials at various restaurants in Chicago to bring members together for mingling and libations. The YLS monthly socials are attended by between 50-100 law students and young lawyers and are advertised to the entire 7,000 person membership of the YLS. Your firm or company will be designated the social or event’s exclusive sponsor and will gain high exposure to program attendees. 


$1,000 sponsorship includes:
- Prominent placement of firm or company logo on email invitation and/or event signage, in any print ads the YLS places in the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin and/or the CBA Record, and on the CBA website and social media pages and in all other event publicity;
- An opportunity to introduce your company at the event and onsite display area for company signage and/or pamphlets;
- Giveaway opportunity to participants (at firm or company’s expense);
- Up to two (2) firm or company representatives may attend the event at no cost.

YLS Special Events
The YLS also hosts up to three large scale events per year— a Boat Cruise Social in August, a Holiday Social in December and a Casino Night Fundraiser in February. These events are attended by 100+ law students and young lawyers and are advertised to the entire 9,000 person membership of the YLS. The YLS also continually hosts innovative special events for our members, including panel discussions, public service projects and events featuring guest speakers. Sponsorship levels and pricing vary.

A mid-roll advertisement read by the podcast host exposes your brand to a captive audience of 2,500+ listeners per month, Chicago Bar Association’s 18,000+ members and Legal Talk Network’s 1.2 million subscribers.
