When the COVID-19 pandemic reached the U.S. in March, law practices in many areas of the country were forced to go remote. This transition raised countless questions for lawyers, but top among them involved how to ethically and efficiently accept online payments in a manner that was secure and efficient for both the lawyer and the client. Look no further for answers! In this seminar, we’ll explore all things online payments: what they are, how their role has changed in the age of COVID-19, and why they’re so important. We’ll explore the importance of PCI compliance, as well as how you can increase the revenue in your law office.

Most individuals know that there are fees associated with credit cards, but few know who sets those fees or how they can change depending on the type of card (i.e., a rewards credit card is assessed a higher interchange fee than a debit card). This seminar will help to de-mystify these considerations. Attendees will receive practical advice and tips that they can actually use, from an attorney who learned about these processes by implementing them in a prior firm.
