CBA Mourns Passing of Congressman John Lewis

The CBA joins our nation in mourning the loss of Congressman John Lewis.  We are forever grateful to Congressman Lewis who worked tirelessly and courageously with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Whitney Young, A. Philip Randolph, Fannie Lou Hamer, James L. Farmer, Jr., Gwendolyn Zoharah Simmons, and Roy Wilkins in leading America's Civil Rights movement   Congressman Lewis devoted his life to pursuing a more fair and a more just society.  While his work continues, we are a better nation because of him. In his spirit of "getting into good trouble," the CBA shall continue to advocate for justice everywhere.
