Notice to Members: CBA Staff Working Remotely

March 18, 2020

Dear Members:

As a follow-up to my March 13 email and in light of the 60 new Chicago residents who tested positive for the Coronavirus since yesterday, we are suggesting that members and member firms consider remote work options for all legal and support staff until such time as this health emergency is past. CBA's staff will begin working remotely this week and will respond to member inquiries via email.

The health and well-being of our community is a paramount concern to all of us and following the directives of the CDC and our outstanding Chicago and Illinois Departments of Public Health, we will minimize the number of new infections to our members, support staff and loved ones.

The CBA will continue to offer outstanding CLE, law practice management, and unique educational programming on the Association's website during this period. New content will be added on a weekly basis along with Association news and programming updates. Please check your email and CBA social media for notice of live Webcast and on demand seminar and committee programming.

Together we can and will ensure the well-being of our legal community. On behalf of the Officers and Board of Managers, thank you.

Sincerely,
Terrence M. Murphy
CBA Executive Director
