Law Student Career Immersion Mentoring Program - 2020-2021 School Year
The YLS has developed a unique career immersion mentoring program which will pair rising 2L law students with attorney mentors who will guide you through a series of experiences that will benefit your career. Examples of experiences may include conducting a mock interview, shadowing the attorney during a virtual hearing or deposition, or having the attorney edit a writing sample. The goal is to "meet" virtually with your mentor once per month during program (runs October 2020 - April 2021). This program is intended only for 2L students. You must a current law student member of the CBA to participate. A limited number of mentors are available to students from each of the participating Chicago-area law schools and pairings will be made on a first come, first served basis. The fall 2020 program is now full for law students, but continues to accept applications for mentors: click here to apply as a mentor. Email email@example.com with questions and/or click here for more information about the program.
