This year’s ABA Law Week theme, “Voices of Democracy,” recognizes that in democracies, the people rule. What better time to learn about the history of voting rights and the current state of the law in Illinois and Indiana than in an election year? This seminar will discuss what challenges and opportunities to expect in the upcoming election. Plus, learn about the Election Protection hotline (866-OUR-VOTE) that handles Illinois and Indiana voter’s questions and the volunteer opportunities available in the hotline’s call center and in-person field volunteer program (poll-watcher).
